Thank You Letter from Scholarship Recipient Daisha Batiste

Dear Ms. Scott:

I am sending you this letter in thanks for the financial blessing you have granted me with the Rev. John H. Scott Memorial Scholarship.  I was the $3,000.00 scholarship recipient and I am more than grateful for the opportunity to pursue an advanced education with this blessing. 

I thank God that this foundation was set in place so that young people such as myself can be allowed to go further in life and set an example for generations to come.  It wouldn’t be right if I did not thank Rev. Scott’s family and the contributors and ask them to continue his beautiful legacy.  This was truly a gift from God.

Thank you once more for everything and I plan on updating you on my progress soon.  God bless you and your entire family.
