Alease J. Scott Memorial Award

Alease Juanita Scott was the wife of Rev. Scott.  In addition to providing assistance to her husband, she was an activist in her own right.  She provided leadership and loyal fellowship in many service groups including the Women’s auxiliary of the Baptist Association, Ministers’ Wives Alliance, Sister Workers, Sunday School and BTU Congress and many others.  This award honors her life by being offered to a person who promotes community improvement and pride mainly through work in organizations. The total award is $500.
