The JOHN H. SCOTT MEMORIAL FUND is a non-profit established in honor of Reverend John H. Scott, who was a minister and civil rights activist in northeast Louisiana who devoted his life to improving the quality of life for his people.  The primary project of the Fund is the John H. Scott Memorial Fund Scholarship which is awarded annually in May.
