Angela Adjoa Toldson was a granddaughter of Reverend John H. and Alease Scott who was stricken with a rare form of epilepsy at the age of ten years and died at age 23. Her faith and determination to continue her education despite the constant debilitating seizures inspired family, friends and others who came in her contact. Many people learned from her how to handle life’s difficulties and even how to approach the end of life with grace, dignity, hope, faith and love. The student who receives this award must be one who is graduating from high school even though she/he has had to face disability, injury, disease, or other health challenges. The total award is $300.
